Being the central program element of the art and research project [re/dis]cover, the TRANSURBAN Urban Art Archive opened its 9th chapter in and about Amsterdam in spring 2019.

This book retells the story, with text and pictures, of this exploratory journey by offering representative findings; it will do so by reviving and analyzing the initiated debates in Amsterdam through a series of transcripts from public discussions and additional essays by independent experts. Centering around the topics of curating urban art and the qualities of public space the publication opens up the discourse on the "Rebel City vs the Creative City", "Public Space as a Common Space" and the musealisation of street related art forms. As an art and research project [re/dis]cover discusses the right to the city as "the right to make the city a collective work of art; an ouevre" - Stavors Stavrides, 2017.
